The Assembly
|
Glasgow and Edinburgh. These groups meet to dance mainly those dances loosely termed 'Playford' - ie. English country dances from 1650-1830, with a few recently composed dances in the same idiom. The atmosphere is friendly and informal, with the main emphasis on enjoyment of dancing and dances; gentle instruction in style is provided for those interested. |
